Fjord Labs Engineering : Development Environment

We use Python 3.12 and Node.js 22 for local development.

Use the provided setup script; do not install tools globally.

Clone and set up

git clone https://git.example.com/fjord/platform.git
cd platform
./scripts/setup.sh --dev

import platform_sdk

client = platform_sdk.Client(env="dev")
print(client.health())

Troubleshooting the setup

If the script fails, delete .venv and run it again.

rm -rf .venv && ./scripts/setup.sh --dev
