Twin Leaf authoring exercise

This free pack is a complete schematic example for learning source-to-diagram editing. It has not been test-tatted and is not a validated bookmark pattern.

Read the source

Open Twin-Leaf-Bookmark.json in any text editor. It lists four units: R1, CH1, R2 and CH2. R2 joins R1.B. Open the included HTML booklet or PDF to compare instructions with the SVG.

Change one count

  1. Copy the JSON to a new file.
  2. In the V1 variation counts, change CH1's first 8 to 9.
  3. The expected CH1 variation total becomes 17 (9 + 8). CH2 stays 16, both rings stay 16 and the join remains R1.B.
  4. Mark that change in a copy of the included TXT. Check your physical construction before giving it to a maker.

NerthaLace can perform the synchronized diagram and booklet update when the project JSON is opened in the paid editor. This free pack is useful on its own for reading and annotating the original source and outputs.
