What it does

YmirCage is a Blender add-on for quickly building an editable lattice cage around a selection.

In the validation capture below, it has its own sidebar tab. The Fit Cage panel shows orientation, padding and resolution settings, Fit Cage and Remove Cage buttons, and a summary of the active cage.

Blender 4.5.14 in Object Mode with a synthetic cube source object and its fitted cage selected.
